DJED SPENCE SET TO START VS DR CONGO

Djed Spence is reportedly set to start for England later this afternoon, according to David Ornstein. The 25-year-old has been given the nod from England Head Coach, Thomas Tuchel, to fill in for the injured Reece James.

Spence has had a tricky tournament so far struggling to cement a starting spot in the team and playing just 103 minutes across the group stages. He's also been at the centre of attention when training, with multiple videos circulating showing Thomas Tuchel screaming at Spence and questioning his effort in training.

Despite this, Spence has now been given his first start of the tournament. Marcus Rashford is also set to start as well as Declan Rice returning from a minor injury.
